Did you know that Knysna is considered one of the most dangerous ports in the world! All due to the impressively beautiful, but dangerous Knysna Heads. Although potentially dangerous to pass through, there is no better way to see or experience their beauty, than from the water.
Our ‘Heads Cruise’ leaves the tranquil setting of Thesen Island Harbour and takes you out onto the main lagoon waterway on a slow cruise towards the Heads to take in all the delights of the Knysna Lagoon and its surroundings. This is follwoed by a picni lunch on the Western Head before the return cruise back up the estuary to hustle and bustle of the waterfront, then home. |

Our boat heads off to the Knysna Heads, where we throw anchor, crack open a drink, and relax. The tour is fully guided while we head off to the oyster beds. Once there, guests experience an interactive tour of the oyster beds & guests learn all about the Knysna oysters and the oyster trade. |
