Day 1

08h00    Join White Shark Africa  in Mossel Bay at 08h00 for their thrilling Shark Cage Diving experience which includes buffet breakfast, light lunch & refreshments, diving & viewing & dive equipment.  This 4 hour program is a never-to-be forgotten experience, and if you are not up for the dive, the whole experience as a spectator is just as rewarding.
12h30    Take the historical R328 district road from Mossel Bay through to Oudtshoorn enjoying some magnificent scenery along the way.
14h00    Explore the historical town of Oudtshoorn where you will find lots of history, quaint architecture and interesting little shops.  
15h30    Visit the world famous Highgate Ostrich Show Farm. Your tour has been booked for 15h30 today to give you ample time to explore this interesting part of The Garden Route. During your visit to Highgate, experience the world's largest bird which lays the largest egg, has the most beautiful feathers and eyes that make you want to fall in love with hem. You can enjoy riding the birds at your own risk, stand on their eggs, touch the birds and cuddle the chicks all in approximately 1 ½ hours. Professional multilingual guides take you on a conducted tour where you will learn about the birds, experience laughter & beauty situated in a valley surrounded by thousands of ostriches and majestic mountains.
17h00    After the tour, browse in Highate’s well stocked curio shop.  From Ostrich Biltong to brightly coloured feather dusters, you are bound to find something to take home as a memory or gift from the Klein Karoo.
17h30    Enjoy a delicious traditional Ostrich Meal for dinner at Highgate with complimentary wine.  The cost of the set meal is included in the package price. Vegetarian and Eastern meals can be provided by prior arrangement.
